Careers expo

On Friday we went to the careers expo at horn castle arena. We had a lot of fun looking at all the exhibitions. There were heaps of different people showing different jobs. There were Universities, Design schools, radio stations and even Dominos pizza. At the university we met two people who used to go to Springston School.

cooking in tech

For this round in tech we are doing cooking.  My favourite thing we made so far is cinnamon  Pinwheel scones. We have made a lot of stuff like sausage rolls and scones and lots more.  the best part about cooking is eating what we made.

A day in the life of a dolphin

Jumping through the air

Without a fear

Confidence is key

To truly be

A dolphin of elegance

And grace

Acrobat of the sea

The dolphins play gleefully

Jumping, twisting, diving

Splashing swimming, thriving

Performing for boats

Fishermen clap and cheer

The pod swims away

To a boat where people play

Wearing wetsuits

Diving in

They admire

The dolphins technique

As night falls

And darkness arrives

The dolphins sleep

Resting from today’s adventure

balloon and tray science experiment

Today we did an experiment to see what would happen if we drop a balloon and tray at the same time. First we dropped them at the same time separately. The tray fell quicker. then we dropped them at the same time but the balloon on top of the tray. When we did that they fell at the same time. I think the reason for this is the tray sucked the ballon in with it.
